Lancelot grew up in the small mountain community of Idyllwild, California. At the age of fifteen he learned the craft of pottery and decided that he wanted to be an artist. Directly after high school Lance moved to San Diego and began blowing glass at Palomar College in 2002. Lance received two associates degrees and then spent several years asa nomad traveling the country and blowing glass. In 2008 he was accepted to the California College of the Arts and in December 2010 Lancelot received a BFA in Glass. Lance has attended workshops at the Pilchuck Glass School, Penland School for Crafts, Eugene Glass School, and the Appalachian Center for Crafts. Lancelot is currently living and working in Oakland, California.
